Thursday Comfy Outfit!

This pair of heeled blew me away! Whoa love 'em much!

The complete outfit is all new grabs from F21! Ohhh, except the choker, she's from Claires.  Just eyed her yesterday and I fell in love with that stunningly heart-shaped pendant and what else, not bad for a AED20 half price-cut deal huh?  Can't just resist not to pass by.

Need I say more how comfortable this whole outfit is? Ohhh boy it is! I can wear 'em all day long may at work, strollin' at the mall or even a casual meet up again with the girls tonight, perhaps?  Well that's to celebrate the weekend.  But I need to hit the running field first before any 'cos I aint have my wellness time yesterday waiting for something to receive almost in vain :(

My Lifestyle - Part 1

So let's talk about healthy lifestyle (*wink).  Or I'd rather say, let me just share what sort of lifestyle do I follow if it could be classified as healthy.

Ok, ok I need not to deny my age.  I just turned 30!  30 and 2 months to be exact. Yes, I'm no longer a kid which means I have to be conscious a little bit more now on health than what I used to be when I was just in my 20's. I was not bothered about anything.  Did everyone else does during this stage?  I was young and carefree and happy-go-lucky kid at that time. But this has changed now.  How powerful time can change us.  I realized this time should be the beginning of new life, healthy, better life to enjoy.

It may not easy to start a new undertaking leaving behind all what you used to do.  But for me, I did it simple.  Setting a goal on what I want to become, discipline and determination are my key to prosper - on anything I'd like to achieve.

This is what I want, so this is what I should do. Say, I wanna feel fresh to wake up in the morning for work, so I sleep early (*wink) - seriously. I don't wanna gain more than 50kgs, so I work out and have proper diet (I've got some weight management stuff I follow too ;-))

So what I take in for my diet?  I am vegetarian and gave up eating pork for 7 years now.  Beef doesn't have appeal on me too.  I drink a lot of water, fruit juice and fresh milk.  I eat a lot of fruits too.  Junkies are 'no' to me.  I am not a chocolate baby or for anything sweet.  Of course I don't smoke.  I drink on socials - I think this could be an excuse for the heart? (*wink) What else? Ohh, don't misjudge on my nerdy-look.  This is the effect of being a studios kid and prolonged contact in front of the computer.

And by the way, how does my newly-acquired booties look?  This was in my shoplist for almost 2 months and how amazing it is to have that 70% price cut deal from F21!  Who am I to refuse the offer?

It transpires that I need to have a continuation of this post.  Sure I will do that, so stay tuned.

As I have mentioned on this post , here are some of the photos during my weekend trip to Dubai with roomies.  Despite of struggles on dubai roads, we still managed to smile in front of the camera.  Hmmn, ain't this really obvious that we love being the subject, no matter what?

The Weekend That Was

Three more days sound a bit of a long wait before another weekend.  I am feeling exhausted and taking much of an effort to drag myself at work. The weekend was just over and I was feeling uneasy on a first working day of the week when I should have felt refreshed ready for a five-long working days.  That is because my weekend was spent on things I really did not want to do.  It wasn’t just a perfect timing spending the whole day outside and produce nothing. The day went wasted and I felt bad about it when I should have done something meaningful to cheer my weekend up. Organizing my wardrobe should have given me a nice smile before I started off the week. Don’t worry, I don’t blame anyone.

That’s fine.  Things happen beyond our control and even if we attempt to hold it off, we still can’t do anything but to embrace it, all in with the right spirit.

Ok, enough with ramblings and whining for that day. I should tell you that somehow I had a little nice time for myself on late Thursday night.  I headed to Marina Mall straight away after work to check a pair of leopard print-inspired shoes in Forever 21 but I found out that it looked more of a high booties than it is shown on the website. The purpose wasn’t served so I went for a movie ‘Just Go With It’ instead.

Another night, on a Friday.  Girlfriends meet up to cheer for a friend who joined a singing contest.  I was a bit hesitant to attend but it has been quite sometime that I wasn’t on the crowd so it might as well good to show up and go with the flow, and so I did. 

The good and not-so-good days are not yet over. I hurt my hands washing soo hard yesterday.  That is with my bare hands.  It may sound ridiculous, and yes it is, that I gave much importance on the fabric rather than taking care of my hands. Using gloves did not convince me so with the hand rashes. Would you ever dare to take the same challenge?

I can’t wait any longer for another weekend.  Hopefully for a relaxing weekend.  But before that happens, outfit posts will always be up here first.  This is for todays.

Here's just a quick outfit post before I hit off the weekend.  A black and white combination topped with grey dotted bolero to flaunt the simple yet stylish touch of the whole outfit.

Who says wearing shorts at work will not be possible? But before thinking for such, do consider a review on the liberalism and conservatism of people around you.  That is why, a careful pick of top and accessories that will suit to pair with a shorts is just minimal to come up with a trendy yet classy outfit.

I will have the opportunity in solitude again for two days.  That means, a day off as well from blogging.  Allow me please to have the days spent for myself, well perhaps, as I will be doing a lot of exercise and cutting-off-the-fats sacrifices.  This is an initial plan and I hope I can keep it.

It's been weeks that I wasn't able to run and do my after-work exercise.  The weather in the UAE will make one a lazy bum. Indulge from lousy movies to watch cos you don't have a choice.  Every must-watch movie has already been viewed and reviewed and the rest are the leftovers that will invite and force yourself to dig in from your library. ooh there is one more, I became fascinated with vampires! weirdo am I you may think but don't go a lot beyond, I just glued myself watching 'the vampire diaries'.  are you following the same?

This is basically the fruit of a cold weather in the UAE.  Not to mention about how I gained back and dying to cut the fats all over again. And that brought myself back to go for an hour and half run yesterday. So after weeks and weeks of not moving my a*s out at the running field, what do you think my legs will become?

But that doesn't stop me wearing the stilleto shoes to complete the whole outfit for today.  I like the simplicity and color coordination of this outfit.  By the way, that was a quick pull from my closet last night.  Effortless indeed but the outcome is worth blogging off.  Be good to me and please agree ;-)

apologies guys if I may bore you with a no-change of background.  i know i should be looking at some interesting spots for a new touch of flavor on the photos.  yes, i will definitely work on that.  meanwhile, please bear with my DIY snapshots 'til i can afford to get a professional photographer and scout the side walks of Abu Dhabi for my photo shoot.  do you reckon?

it's hump day again! 2 more days before the weekend and that means i'm close to having a decision should i push through the planned vacation for this year.  i'm still undecided so i'l leave it for the time being.
